THE BENEFITS OF WICKER

KETTLER Wicker is a high quality Polyethylene weave using hand-made manufacturing techniques which offers optimal strength and durability, on all-aluminum powder-coated frames. A UV rating of 2000 hours provides a high level of color fastness. The synthetic wicker is weatherproof and can be left outdoors all year round (excluding cushions).

• Weather Resistant: Optimal weather resistance and higher than industry standard UV resistant rating (2000 UV Resistant Light Hours) compared to the industry standard of 1000 UV Light Hours.

• Low Maintenance: Forget about sanding, staining, or refinishing. Synthetic wicker is incredibly easy to maintain. A simple wipe-down keeps it looking it's best, minimizing upkeep costs.

• Reinforced Square Aluminum Tubing: Enhances strength and durability, offering three times the strength of conventional round tubing.

CLEANING WICKER

Start by removing leaves and other debris trapped between wicker strands with a vacuum cleaner or soft bristle brush. Wipe off any loose accumulated dirt with a clean damp cloth. You can hose off the frame with a spray hose on a medium setting to loosen dirt and dust, but do not use a high power washer.

Warning: Bleach and abrasive cleaners can permanently damage the all-weather wicker leading to chronic dirt accumulation. We recommend a mild soap solution. (2 ounces of mild soap, such as Woolite or Dawn dishwashing liquid, to 1 gallon of lukewarm water).

CARE ADVICE FOR TABLE TOPS

Depending on the patio set you select, your wicker table may feature a Poly, Brushed Aluminum, Flat Aluminum, or Glass tabletop. For care instructions specific to each type, please refer to the provided guidelines in the Table Tops Materials section.

• Fade Resistant: Made from 100% solution-dyed acrylic, this fabric is resistant to fading. It has superior UV protection blocking up to 98% of the sun’s harmful rays. Even with frequent cleaning and outdoor use, your Sunbrella fabrics will retain their rich colors.

• Stain & Water Resistant: Sunbrella fabrics are engineered to resist stains and water. Pop-up rain showers, accidental spills, and muddy paw prints are no problem. Sunbrella fabrics are made to be enjoyed.

• Mold & Mildew Resistant: A performance fabric that's made to resist both mold and mildew. If prolonged exposure to messes or liquids occur, it's durable enough to be cleaned with a mild bleach solution.

• Easy To Clean: Cleaning is a snap with gentle soap and water.

TIPS FOR CLEANING OUTDOOR CUSHIONS

One of the best ways to keep outdoor fabrics looking good is to brush off dirt and debris before it becomes embedded in the fabric and to address messes and clean spills soon after they occur. The quicker you clean spills, the easier they can be to remove.

Prepare a solution of 1/4 cup mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water. Use a soft bristle brush to clean, allowing the cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow fabric to air dry.

For best results when cleaning upholstered pieces, clean the entire surface area of the fabric, from seam to seam, instead of rubbing the fabric in a circular motion in order to avoid water rings and residue.

FOR MOLD OR MILDEW

Our fabrics do not promote mildew growth, however, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances if not removed from the fabric. To remove mold or mildew: Prepare a solution of 1 cup of bleach and 1/4 cup mild soap per gallon of water. Spray the solution on the entire area and allow it to soak into the fabric for 15 minutes. Clean the entire surface area with a sponge, clean towel, or very soft bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue. Air dry.
